Booking Terms — Makeup-byEmma

Payments & Deposits

A $25 deposit is required for all bookings — strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.
The remaining balance is due in cash only, on the day of the appointment.
Bridal balances must be paid in full 30 days prior to the wedding date.

Timing & Fees

After-hours fee: an extra $30 applies to appointments booked before 7:00 AM or after 7:00 PM.
Sunday bookings: an extra $25 fee applies — please book directly by email at contact@makeup-byemma.com.
On-location travel starts at $10. Out-of-state travel requires full client accommodation coverage.

Attendance & Cancellations

Late policy: a $25 fee applies at 15 minutes late, plus $1 per minute thereafter.
Appointments are canceled after 30 minutes late.
Rescheduling is allowed once, up to 24 hours before your appointment.

Services & Pricing

All prices are in U.S. dollars and are starting prices per person unless stated otherwise. Your final price — including add-ons, travel, after-hours or Sunday fees — is confirmed in writing before you pay the deposit.
The "On Demand" Glam includes travel within a 10–15 mile radius of zip code 22554; additional mileage is $5 per mile.
Deposits are paid outside this website, using the method stated in your confirmation (from Zelle or Cash App). No card details are collected on this website.

Skin, Health & Safety

For your safety, I may decline or stop a service in case of an active skin or eye infection, an open wound, or a reaction during application. The deposit terms above still apply.
Reactions to cosmetic products can occur even with professional products. To the fullest extent permitted by Virginia law, my liability is limited to the price paid for the service, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Clients Under 18

Clients under 18 (for example prom or homecoming) must be booked by a parent or legal guardian, who pays the deposit, accepts these terms, and is reachable by phone before the appointment.

Photos & Social Media

I may ask to photograph your finished look. It is only published on this website or social media with your separate written consent (a text or an email is enough).

Business & Production Clients

Bookings for businesses (productions, brands, photographers, agencies) are confirmed by a written quote or invoice stating the scope, rates, usage and payment terms.
Unless the quote says otherwise, invoices are due within 15 days. Late balances may incur a late charge of 1.5% per month, never above the maximum allowed by Virginia law, plus reasonable collection costs.
